Description: What started out as an assignment in graduate school transformed into a larger initiative that reinvigorated conversation in the Greater Third Ward, TX area, specifically around Emancipation Park. The job was to develop a strategy for community connectivity to the newly renovated $33 million park and following gentrification.

Identified challenges facing the study area based on future development trends, demographics, and financial resources.

Summarized solutions around four key areas which included land use, beautification, education, and transportation.
